Hi there—thanks for the feedback, and I’m sorry the post didn’t meet your expectations.

This vertical scratching post is wrapped with modular paper-vine and built on a powder-coated steel base. Paper vine feels softer to the touch than sisal, but it’s tightly wound, very wear-resistant, and doesn’t shed paper debris. A slight sway is normal for tall modular posts, but it is still stable for cats to scratch on.

We’re afraid we don’t fully understand which part of the product you found “squishy.” We’ve emailed you to help troubleshoot and sort this issue with you.
